During the 1980’s and 1990’s, Jay was at the forefront of foreign affairs issues helping to shape U.S. policy. He actively participated in several foreign policy matters during President Reagan’s first term.
In 1986, Jay established a political strategy and foreign policy issues consulting firm where he represented clients from Taiwan, Japan, Russia, Philippines, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Middle East. He also produced several television documentaries which provided a balanced analysis of the most controversial foreign policy matters facing the American public at the time.
Jay has served on the national board of the Easter Seals Society, the South Africa Education Fund, and as president of Bruce Herschensohn’s Leadership to Preserve America. In addition to his board position with The Reagan Legacy Foundation, Jay currently is a member of Pepperdine University’s School of Public Policy Board of Visitors and the Republican Jewish Coalition National Leadership Council. He is a lifetime member of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation and the Reagan Alumni Associates.
He is also executive producer of several full length feature films including “Lt. Dan Band: The Documentary,” which follows actor Gary Sinise as he and his Lt. Dan Band entertain and support our troops worldwide. Jay is very supportive of several organizations that support our Veterans and their families.
Jay is a partner in Lamplight Entertainment which creates, develops and produces entertainment projects that underscore the faith based, patriotic values that is at the heart of the American experience.
