The inaugural group of American and European students participating in the Liberty Education Tours, will celebrate their summer of travel, studies and networking at their graduation ceremony on July 17, 2010, at the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Following a two- day student conference at the Young America's Foundation, Reagan Legacy Foundation donors and supporters, along with students and their parents will hear from Michael Reagan during their graduation, with a charge to continue their focus on the meaning and principles of freedom.
The students, 19 from the US and eight from Europe (Germany, Poland and Czech Republic) have now all traveled to Cold War sites, visited the Reagan Library, Museum of Tolerance, and other California locales, and met with many important speakers and thinkers to develop their understanding of liberty.
The students will also speak to their commitment to good citizenship and the American way of peace through strength.
Students studied the principles promoted by President Ronald W. Reagan and his celebrated policies to serve humanity such as missile defense, free market economics, and positive inter-personal relations with all.
The Reagan Legacy Foundation freedom fellows will receive certificates acknowledging their studies and travel.
