My Fellow Americans,
Thank you for visiting the Reagan Legacy Foundation website! My father, President Ronald Reagan, espoused the virtues of freedom, individual responsibility and charity. This organization is dedicated to continuing his legacy.
The Reagan Legacy Foundation is a non-profit public benefit organization, founded exclusively for charitable purposes. The purpose of this organization is to promote charitable and educational activities, defend human and civil rights, and relieve the poor and underprivileged. We will accomplish these goals by conducting educational activities, support educational and other charities, sponsor public forums, and provide grants to charitable activities that engage in purposes that share our goals.
Here are some of the activities and organizations we support:
The Reagan Presidential Library - Located in Simi Valley, CA, the Reagan Library is a beautiful facility dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the Presidency of Ronald Reagan.
The Reagan Ranch Project - This project is dedicated to preserving the "Western White House" of President Reagan and ensuring that his accomplishments, values and ideals are passed on to younger generations.
Eureka College - This liberal arts college in Eureka, Illinois, is the university from which President Reagan graduated. The school conducts education and research on the history of the former President.
John Douglas French Center - A facility in Los Alamitos, CA, that is dedicated to the short and long term care of those afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease, which also afflicted the former President.
San Diego Navy League - Civilian organization dedicated to supporting the men and women of the maritime services and their families. They also educate the public and elected officials about the condition and necessary support of these brave men and women.
San Diego Armed Services YMCA - Private organization that provides services and support to military personnel and their families at no charge.
The Reagan Golf Classic and Gala - This event will be held September 9th and 10th to raise money for sailors serving on the USS Ronald Reagan as well as for the San Diego Navy League and San Diego Armed Services YMCA. The entire event will consist of a Gala Dinner and a Golf Tournament, followed by an awards ceremony/reception on board the USS Ronald Reagan.
Western Conservative Political Action Conference (WCPAC) - A conference which will be held October 12 - 13, in Newport Beach, CA. The purpose of WCPAC is to have speakers and hold seminars to advance public policy in support of lower taxes and a strong national defense.
As you can see, our goals and endeavors are bold. With your support and participation, we will keep President Reagan's eternal optimism and vision of a "shining city on a hill" alive for current and future generations.
With gratitude,

Michael Reagan
